Mind Your Body – Nutrition & Mindfulness for Balance
‘A body at peace with itself is more precious than the rarest of gems’ – Tsongkhapa
If you are feeling out of sync with your body, you are certainly not alone. The past 15+ months of a global pandemic and political unrest have been VERY stressful, mentally and physically. And if you are a women over 45, there’s a very good chance this stress has rocked your hormones (and therefore, your blood sugar), and not in a good way.
If you are suffering from irritability, anxiety, and insomnia, NOW is the time to focus on bringing more nutrition into your kitchen. Join Jenny Brewer, Functional Nutritionist and Chef and learn how to plan whole food meals that will balance blood sugar and hormones throughout the day. I’ll show you how to prepare delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners rich in stress reducing nutrients. These online classes are designed so you are cooking along with me while discovering creative ways to make healthy food more delicious and satisfying.
Mind Your Body meets via zoom so you tune in from the comfort of your own home and kitchen. Before each cooking class, you’ll receive a weekly meal plans, recipes and a shopping list. As part of the program, we’ll also be exploring intuitive eating and you’ll receive journaling exercises and mindfulness practices to help you reduce stress, resist cravings and deepen your connection to your body.
