Video: The Joys of Coconut Oil
As many of you know, I’m an ardent salt person and love crunchy, salty things, like crackers, chips and salted nuts. I’d happily forgo dessert in lieu of a second helping of the starchiest, saltiest thing at the table.
Part of my healthier relationship with food is that instead of resisting these cravings, I make sure that healthy options are always available to me. One of those options are tortilla chips I make with coconut oil. I use a healthy whole grain tortilla and a nutritious oil–plus, portion control is built right in.
